A powersupply is needed due to the fact that the plate requires a precise voltage. The powersupply comes fully euqipped with an automatic shut off, saving you from draining your battery. Therefore we provide you with a powersupply with your purchase, at no extra charge.

This product is to be used ONLY on private property! Should the plate happen to malfunction while on route it will obstruct the view of your license plate. The obstruction of your licence plate is illegal in most states/provinces. We recommend that before using your plate that you check your local bylaws.

Hideaplate.com is not responsible for any misuse of the product. This product is intended for use on private property.

The product was designed for car shows. Many car show participants find the need to remove their licence plate to maintian their privacy. Now by the easy flick of a switch, your plate disapears!

Right now there is only one shop who we have been dealing with, and is now a certified installer of all hideaplate.com products. The 20 Hz shop located in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada is the only shop who our installation warranty is valid with. Please visit the 20 Hz website at www.20hzaudio.com for more details.

We only offer our warranty on products that are: installed by a certified installer, used on private property with smooth terrain (grass, pavement, firm crushed stone, etc...), are installed on a maximum of three cars total over its usage period, if no tickets have been issued to the plate in which the car is registered, and our warranty is only offered on products that have been registered. Our warranty only covers manufacturers defect, and not against cracks or leaks due to extreme conditions (weather, excessive noise/vibration over 145 dB constant pressure).
